Musical Legends Discussions
Great thing about Music, it brings back memories! Don't you think so?
I love the 70's and 80's, that was my prime where great bands and great music were created that would probably linger from one generation to another.I remember watching led zeppelin concert movie on wide screen and that skunk smell in the theatre!Yesterday, I found some old casettes that my ex boyfriend gave me. He was a DJ and operated few hot discos in town in the 80's. I played them back and memories just zoomed in quite vividly and reminded me of friends, dance steps, drunken nights and wonderful wasted time![em]lol[/em]Unfortunately,the tape got stuck in the player. I tried to yank it out of the player and the tape broke! Now that's all gone! Aaargghh that was a bugger!Anyways, there's one particular music I wanted to hear and found it on the internet. It's 'life dance' by Sonia Belolo and whoa!! that got me doing the swing again.
Led Zeppelin
yoohhhoooo..:D:D:D ... one last time ..:) the last Led zeppelin concert on the 26 nov. at London`s The O2 venue, on yhe banks of the River Thames.... afte 19 years the good bye concert is happening ..:) ... what is your opion?:P would u go if u got the chance? (i know i would):D
Tool cover of Led Zeppelin
I just recently heard Tool's cover of Led Zeppelins "No Quarter" and thought it was absolutely magnificent. Listen to it with headphones, and try to say that it isn't a masterpiece. I still prefer the original but Tool's totally different method of developing the melody is insane and very interesting. Does anyone feel the same way?
Will Alter Bridge become a legendary band like metallica, queen or Led Zeppelin?
Well, since the release of Blackbird that we can say that Alter Bridge are getting more popular. Many of you guys no that they are a very talented band. The question is: Do they have what it takes to become a legendary band.To become one of those bands that people will talk about even when they areey gone or haven't released a work?In my opinion i think they will become a great band. Maybe not as good as bands like queen or Led Zeppelin, but they could be one of the 30 best bands of all time. What are your thoughts?
Led Zeppelin is the greatest band on the planet!
To me... What is your favorite artist and song of all time? Maybe even a why?
Led Zeppelin VS. Guns N' Roses!!!
Led Zeppelin, a great band in the 70's. Guns N Roses, a great band in the 80's. Which band do you think is the best? and I mean the one that blows your mind clean with their songs!!!
Led Zeppelin album cover
Does anyone else hate the cover of Led Zeppelins first album? Just in case anyone doesn't know what it is, it's a picture of the Hindenberg airship in flames. Thirty six people died in the disaster. Here's a Wikipedia article about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindenburg_disaster Does anyone else think it was wrong to use this as an album cover? I love Led Zeppelins music but I think this was incredibly disrespectful. Just imagine if a band used a photo of the plane flying into the twin towers as an album cover.
Would you want to see Led Zeppelin today?
I know Robert Plant recently declined to tour, he has since John Bonham died and may will again. I've always thought that seeing them now, without Bonham, wouldn't really be seeing Zeppelin. What do you think? Is Zeppelin dead forever except in their albums? Or live the live show with a different drummer still wroth it?
led zeppelin name?
does anyone know where they got the name "led zeppelin"? is it something to do with zeppelins or what?
